A Week of Innovation Without Borders: Immersive Training Transforming Industry
Is it possible to be at a mining site in northern Chile, at a new energy event in Santiago, and at a technical conference in Mexico, all in the same week? At Yoy, the answer is yes.
We recently experienced one of the most dynamic weeks in our history, with teams deployed across several locations and events at the same time. Beyond the distance traveled, what truly drives us is the impact of our work: helping our clients bring Virtual Reality (VR) into new settings and transform the way they train their teams.
Today’s industries face complex challenges, from the energy transition to the goal of zero accidents in high-risk operations. How does Yoy contribute? By creating safe, immersive, and highly effective environments to train the people who keep the country and the region moving. This is how we experienced a week full of milestones.
1. Mining and Operations: High-Standard, Risk-Free Training
Mining and heavy-equipment operation leave no room for error. At Yoy, we know the best way to learn how to operate complex equipment or respond to an emergency is through experience, without the risks of the real world.
During the week, we joined ABB en Safemining 2026, where we discussed how immersive technology is essential to safer mining in the future. We also traveled north to participate in CIMIT Tarapacá 2026 alongside Collahuasi, demonstrating that technological innovation must be present directly in regional development hubs.
We also supported Sigdo Koppers in its mobile-crane training programs. Through our simulations, operators can practice critical maneuvers and develop muscle memory in a fully controlled environment, saving time, reducing the operating costs associated with real equipment, and, most of all, protecting human life.
2. Risk Prevention: Training the Experts
Workplace safety is a cornerstone of every industry. That is why we are proud to work closely with leading institutions.
This week, we joined Multiservice Grúas in a training session for risk-prevention specialists from ACHS. Applying Virtual Reality in this field gives safety specialists unprecedented visual and practical tools. With VR, experts can assess hazards, identify unsafe conditions, and simulate accidents to understand their causes, dramatically improving preventive decision-making in the field.
3. New Energy and International Expansion: Preparing for the Future
The world is changing, and so is the energy mix. We joined ACHS en Hyvolution Chile 2026, the leading green-hydrogen event. As new energy industries emerge, they bring new safety and operating protocols. Virtual Reality is the ideal bridge for training the workforce in emerging technologies and standardizing processes before the physical infrastructure is even complete.
Finally, innovation knows no borders. We traveled to Mexico to take part in the Congreso TécnicoFICEM 2026 (Inter-American Cement Federation), demonstrating how our VR solutions adapt to the international cement industry. We understand that efficiency and safety challenges are global, and our solutions are designed to scale internationally.
Conclusion Different places, industries, and unique challenges, with one shared goal: to keep bringing disruptive innovation to businesses.
At Yoy, we do more than develop software; we create experiences that save lives, optimize processes, and prepare workers for tomorrow’s challenges. This week of simultaneous deployments reflects the trust that major industry leaders place in us.
As we said on our social media: this is only the beginning.
