Privacy and cookie policy

Version 1.0 · September 25, 2026

This policy explains how YOY TRAINING SPA processes the personal data of visitors to www.yoysimulators.com. It is a website-specific annex to Yoy’s general Privacy Policy, which governs our platforms (accounts.yoy.cl, the simulators and the virtual tours). For this website, this annex prevails.

1. Controller

YOY TRAINING SPA, tax ID (RUT) 76.277.334-1, Calle Arlegui 440, office 912, Viña del Mar, Chile. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights: [email protected].

2. What data we process

  • Contact form: the data you enter (for example name, email, company, country and message). The form runs on HubSpot, our CRM.

  • Technical connection data: IP address and browser data, processed by our network provider to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

  • Browsing data through cookies, only if you accept them (see section 4).

We do not ask for sensitive data, and this website is not aimed at minors.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • Answering your requests (information, demos, quotes) and managing the business relationship: pre-contractual steps at your request and legitimate interest.

  • Measuring how the site is used to improve it (Analytics cookies): your consent.

  • Linking your visits to your request in our CRM, chatting with you, and measuring and showing Yoy ads on Google, Meta and LinkedIn (Marketing cookies): your consent.

  • Protecting the site against abuse and automated traffic: legitimate interest.

  • Sending you marketing communications: only with your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not make automated decisions that affect you, and we do not sell your data.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

When you arrive you choose which categories to accept. No analytics or marketing code loads before you decide, and if you reject them the site works just the same. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookies” button at the bottom left of every page; withdrawing it does not affect what was processed before.

  • Necessary (always on): yoy-consent (your browser’s local storage; keeps your choice until you change or clear it) and __cf_bm (Cloudflare, on HubSpot’s form domains, to tell people from bots; 30 minutes).

  • Analytics (only if you accept): _ga and _ga_2EWBJFJHSC, from Google Analytics 4, for visit statistics (pages viewed, traffic source, device); up to 13 months.

  • Marketing (only if you accept): __hstc and hubspotutk (HubSpot, 6 months), __hssc (30 minutes) and __hssrc (session), which link your visits to a contact request and run the chat; _gcl_au and _gcl_ls (Google Ads, 90 days); li_adsId (LinkedIn); and the cookies Meta (Facebook) and LinkedIn set on their own domains to measure ads, under their own policies.

  • YouTube videos: we only show an image; the player (youtube-nocookie.com) loads when you click it, and from then on Google’s privacy policy applies.

5. Who we share data with

  • Cloudflare: hosting, network and protection of the site (international).

  • HubSpot: contact form, CRM, chat and marketing tracking (United States).

  • Google: Google Analytics and Google Ads (international).

  • Meta Platforms and LinkedIn: ad measurement, only with your Marketing consent (international).

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure: stores the site’s images and videos in Santiago, Chile; it holds no visitor personal data.

These providers process data on Yoy’s behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms. Transfers outside Chile rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards required by Chilean Law No. 21,719. We will only hand data to an authority when legally required or ordered by a court.

6. How long we keep it

Contact request data is kept while the business conversation lasts and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you enter into a contract with Yoy (then the general Policy applies) or the law requires a different period. Cookies last as stated in section 4.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and blocking of your data by writing to [email protected]. It is free and we reply within 30 days at most; we may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to Chile’s Personal Data Protection Agency. If you are in the European Union, you also have the rights granted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which you can exercise through the same channel.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change what data we process or which tools we use, we will update this page before doing so and, where needed, ask for your cookie consent again.
