Yoy Simulators takes part in Hecho en Alameda 2026 with an eye on the future of training
On October 6, Yoy Simulators took part in Hecho en Alameda 2026, a gathering on innovation, technology and industry engagement organized by HUB Alameda at Duoc UC, which brought together students, teachers, companies and other players in the ecosystem to discuss how technology is transforming the world of work and professional training.
Virtual reality and the challenges ahead
Under the question “What will our careers look like in 2040?”, the day opened a space to explore new technologies, projects and experiences that aim to stay ahead of the challenges to come. In that context, Yoy Simulators showed how virtual reality can become a concrete tool to transform the way people learn and train.
Virtual reality for a new way of learning
During the event, Juan Reyes, co-founder and CEO of Yoy Simulators, gave a talk focused on the potential of virtual reality applied to training, sharing Yoy’s experience in developing immersive training solutions.
It was an opportunity to discuss how immersive technologies can bring hands-on experience into training programs, creating spaces where people learn by doing and face different training scenarios in a safe, controlled way.
But the experience went beyond the conversation. The Yoy team was also on site throughout the event so that attendees could try our virtual reality solutions first-hand, seeing for themselves what these technologies make possible for learning and training.
Connecting education, technology and industry
For Yoy, taking part in events like Hecho en Alameda is a chance to bring technology closer to the people who will shape the industries of the future and, at the same time, to spark conversations between academia and industry.
Virtual reality is already transforming how organizations can prepare their teams. From technical training to practice in high-risk situations, immersive experiences make it possible to create scenarios that would be difficult, expensive or even impossible to reproduce in a real environment.
Events like this one also show that innovation is not only about adopting new technologies, but about finding new and better ways to prepare people for the challenges ahead.
The future of training is built today
Hecho en Alameda 2026 invited everyone to look toward 2040, but for Yoy the future of training is not something to wait for.
Immersive technologies are already changing the way we learn, practice and get ready to face real situations. Being part of these spaces lets us keep sharing our experience, hear new perspectives and keep driving solutions that connect technology, learning and the real needs of industry.
At Yoy Simulators we believe the future of work starts being built today, and that experiencing these technologies is also a way of getting ready for what comes next.
